Meet Your Trainer - Rob Stephens

Rob Stephens is a third-generation horseman, continuing a family legacy established by his father David and grandfather Owen. Before becoming a trainer, Rob rode as a jockey and gained valuable experience working with some of Britain's leading trainers including Sir Mark Prescott, William Haggas and Philip Hobbs. His wife, Rosie, who was Head Girl for Philip Hobbs, works alongside him at the yard, making Castle Farm a genuine family-run operation. [robstephen...cing.co.uk ]

For over a decade, Rob and Rosie have trained from Castle Farm, which boasts excellent facilities including:

Uphill carpet gallop
Grass gallops
Schooling fences and hurdles
Purpose-built training facilities
Stunning countryside surroundings

Rob has enjoyed success across both the Flat and National Hunt codes, training winners at tracks throughout the UK and developing a reputation for placing horses to best effect.

Your Club Horse - W B Easy (IRE)

The Castle Farm Racing Club horse is the exciting W B Easy, a six-year-old gelding by the powerful National Hunt sire Yeats. Owned by the Castle Farm Racing Club, W B Easy has already shown that he enjoys his jumping and has produced several encouraging performances over hurdles and fences.
