At The Jolly Good Fun Racing Club, we believe racehorse ownership should be exactly that... jolly good fun.

This isn't about boardrooms, percentages and complicated ownership structures. It's about getting out racing with like-minded people, enjoying fantastic days at the races, sharing the highs and lows of the sport, making new friends and hopefully finding ourselves in a few winners' enclosures along the way.

With membership limited to just 36 people, JGF offers a friendly, relaxed and affordable way to experience racehorse ownership as part of an exclusive club where everyone shares the same passion for racing and having a good time.

Whether you're a seasoned racing enthusiast or completely new to ownership, you'll be welcomed into a fantastic community built around one simple idea... enjoying racing together.

Meet Our Club Horse - Bongo Man

At the heart of The Jolly Good Fun Racing Club is our club horse, Bongo Man, a horse that members can follow every step of the way throughout the season.

From entries and declarations to race days and post-race updates, members receive exclusive access to Bongo Man's journey both on and off the racecourse. Every gallop, every race and every success is something the whole club shares together.

With a second horse currently being sourced to join the club, the future has never looked more exciting for JGF members.

In Training with Billy Aprahamian

Bongo Man is trained by the ever-popular Billy Aprahamian, whose welcoming training operation is based at The Gallops near Towcester.

Billy's professional, yet friendly, approach has made him a favourite amongst owners and racing fans alike. The yard offers excellent facilities including quality gallops, a horse walker, modern stabling and dedicated staff who place horse welfare at the centre of everything they do.

Recent winners and strong performances from the yard mean there is plenty for members to look forward to both on and off the racecourse.

With the long-awaited reopening of Towcester Racecourse now on the horizon, there has never been a better time to get involved with a local trainer and a racing club that is firmly rooted in the local racing community.
